Merry Christmas!

I just like to wish all readers and followers of my blog a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year ahead.
And I thank you all for your comments and encouraging notes. May I ask you all to keep your comments coming in, and look out for many blogs, I hope that will come in the new year.
God bless,

  1. Hi Frank! Oh! I totally agree with your comment on my blog. I know that God will give us the ability to carry out whatever He asks us to do. I was trying to look at it from Mary's eyes, the initial human reactions. I in my finite mind cannot imagine looking up and all of a sudden seeing an angel standing before me that the Holy Ghost is going to overshadow me and that I will become pregnant with God's son. I must say, I would definitely be a bit hesitant to believe it at first, and me being who I am, I'm sure it would take more than just someone telling me this to make me believe it (depending what that angel looked like). Of course I would have less trouble believing it if the angel looked like the pictures we see (beings with wings and white glowing robes), but if he came in human form, I'm afraid it would take more than a word. There are too many false prophets out there today. I hope that after the initial shock, I would have the faith to believe it, but one never knows unless they are put in that position.

As far as doing what God tells us to do, I do try, even though sometimes I catch myself hesitating a bit. Then I give myself a "shake" and remind myself that I am a Christian and true Christians obey God's wishes. I then apologize to God, ask His forgiveness and if the opportunity of following His command hasn't passed me by, I will do it.

Thank you again for your wonderful comments. Merry Christmas and God Bless,

    PJ
