Even though she and one of her sons never repented, another son, William, did repent and is a prominent opponent for the things his mom pushed for. He tried reaching his mom and brother with the love of Jesus to no avail, but thereby we know they will have no excuse when they stand before God’s throne.

On the other matter of racism against immigrants, that is a very complicated topic. My mother and father were born in Indonesia, I was born in Holland, raised in America, and now live in Canada, and am a Conservative Christian...imagine THAT! 😉Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00498627087140234765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412187929957069944.post-715426913251155392019-03-11T11:19:07.089-07:002019-03-11T11:19:07.089-07:00 A person once told J. Dr. McGee asked what if he turned out to be like an onion and those layers were his identity. There would be nothing left when he got rid of them. So many are involved with gangs, or drugs or homosexuality and transgenderism, trying to find their identity. They fail to understand those are just things they do, and that God gave them their identity when he created them. They are destroying the very identity they are looking for. She is absolutely adorable and I tell her constantly she is 'wonderfully made'. You would not believe the conversation that goes on between my husband and Tinker, he 'meows' to her in various notes and she shoots back the same sounds. I can not stop myself from saying 'It is a fool that says there is no God'. Every creature that God has created is individual yet equal.
I was brought up in an area in South Wales fairly close to a dock but also on the edge of the countryside. There was every nationality and colour you could think of there, and I would not have wanted to be brought up in another place. Although some of the teenagers were 'toughies' they respected their parents and other adults and looked out for one another. My father worked for the war department on the docks and because he spoke about six languages was used to interpret when foreign people came over. We would sometimes have what people called 'tramps' knock on our door sometimes because they knew my father would call them in and give them food. Snobbery achieves nothing as all that any person haves belongs to God. I love the illustration of the 2 door signs, and agree that it is an excellent reconciliation of free will with God's predetermined purpose for each of us.
As you may have read, a 14 year old boy in the US died a few days ago from a knife stab to the eye, which resulted from he and another 14 year old arguing over a brownie. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
Praise the Lord that in Him we have the best identity to which we could ever aspire. Any worldly status symbol pales next to the cross of Calvary.
God bless,
LaurieLaurie Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10676088158113572565noreply@blogger.com
